Salazar's pilot / home blood. Scheduled death ~ (Death #5): flying the war Salazar can't, in a window Salazar would have closed in the air — his grounding (inner-ear, can't stand a moving deck) kills someone he'd have saved. The bill lands on three: Salazar (the coach who couldn't fly it), Vinter (loses a peer as he steps up), the bridge. Must carry a "small functional handle" BEFORE the death (author rule, like Tessaro): seeded as a pilot doing a useful ordinary thing well under Salazar's voice — so when the bill comes he was a person doing a job, NOT a redshirt. When he dies: event-not-ceremony, no aria (same discipline as Tessaro/Marchetti).
